Kicking off with the introduction of the parts of the ukulele and a summary of the 4 different strings, young kids can have a brief idea of the instrument first.
In the elementary book, the basic rhythm and pitch are included for sure. But more importantly, the fingering of chords and strumming pattern are introduced in details as these are the unique elements of the ukulele. Kids can strum the chords and, in advanced, sing along the nursery rhymes together.
In the advanced book, besides the strumming pattern, kids will learn to play the single as well. Scores are arranged for chordal and melodic use. More challenging scores will be encountered, but on the other hand, more beautiful tunes could be performed.
